When we try to import the license file to the SZ\vSZ, we get the following error:
"Unable to upload the controller license file. Reason: Import license data to node [vSZ1] failed: System machine type does not match expected machine type"
We see a license sync error on the events page as well.
Root cause:
The issue could be due to existing License file on SZ got corrupted. Or
Controller not able to reach to the License server.
Workaround:
Ensure that the controller is able to ping "ruckuswireless.flexnetoperations.com" from controller CLI.
Try using a different browser.
Ensure to use the right license file.
Solution:
We have to delete the existing license file using the command and then re-sync the license details. This should resolve the issue.
vSZ#config
vSZ(config)#license cloud enable
