As a Ruckus Technical Support Engineer, I would like to share my experience on configuring automatic zone firmware upgrade on vSZ.
Follow below steps to schedule zone firmware upgrade on vSZ running on 6.1.1.0.x
Login into vSZ GUI>>Administration>>Upgrade >>Schedule Zone Firmware Upgrade
Schedule Task>> “+Create”
Select Specific Zone for the upgrade
Schedule >> Provide Name/Change Firmware to(Select the version from the available list)/Schedule time( Mandatory fields)
Note : Time will execute at 0/30 min every hour (exp : 1:00, 1:30)
Review all the information before upgrade >> Ok
