switch replacement

My switch stopped working.  After a discussion with a technician, the unit had a problem with a port.

The technician said I need a replacement.  Please see more info below.

This is the serial number: FEK3217R1VM

Based on the troubleshooting and the images you have shared, seems that the management port is not  responding  this unit should be RMA (return merchandise authorization) in simple words replace it.

Feel free to contact us via chat, comment you already have a post, copy the link from the post (URL) and paste it into the chat to start unit replacement.

I received a replacement.  After connection, green lights are on, but no internet connection.  I wonder if I connected correctly.  Please let me know.

Meanwhile, when I tried my own switch, it worked fine.

Apologies for the delayed response on this.

As per the case description, I could understand that you are unable to access the Internet from a newly replaced Switch.

The picture/photograph you shared in which it is mentioned as a ‘Modem Connection’. Could you please confirm if it is a Modem or a Router? The connection must be from a Router or Modem-Router combo device.

It is a modem router combo.  See the connection below. Still, not working.  When I tried the same connection to my personal switch, it works.

Could you please take the console access to the Switch and share output of the below commands?

show inline power detail
