Unable to see the Switch in the Ruckus portal

I have been having choppy wifi and I fixed it recently using this link and huge thanks to this group !

However, I still don't see the Switch in the ruckus portal (screenshot below), and I am unable to login to the switch portal (i tried all the passwords here). How can I login ? I saw somewhere that it helps to upgrade drivers (or something like that) and I can only do that using the switch portal

Hello @pradeepgogu ,

Thank you for the response.

From the response shared, I understand that the Switch is upgraded to the latest recommended version 08.0.95g.

Now, the Switch needs to be added in the Unleashed browser.

Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to add the Switch to the Ruckus Unleashed system.

Thank you ! I will try this tonight. What should I do when the default login credentials are not working ?

When I accessed the switch IP on the web browser earlier (before upgrade) I was unable to login as none of these passwords are working

Hello @pradeepgogu ,

Thank you for the response.

As per the case description, I understand that you are facing issues logging into Switch  and needs assistance in resetting the login credentials.

As you have access to CLI using Telnet, I would request you to please execute the following commands for resetting the credentials:

Note: Hit Enter to accept each command

enable

configure terminal

device(config)# username super password pass

In this example, the username is ‘super’ and the password is ‘pass’.

To ensure proper authentication, execute the following commands:

device(config)# crypto key generate rsa

device(config)# aaa authentication login default local

device(config)# aaa authentication web-server default local

Note: It will take some time to get synchronized with new reset credentials.

Now we can try using these new reset credentials (username/password) to log in to the Switch.

Once you login to the Switch, you may try using the upgrade tool to upgrade the Switch version.

Please follow the process explained in the article and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Regards,

Pinky Rajendran
