Unable to factory reset after Wireless AP lost power

Hi,

My wireless APs lost power this morning so I tried to perform a factory reset. However the lights on the switch keep flashing after reset.

If I unplug the power and plug back in, the flashing stops, but does not resolve my issue with the wireless APs.

Please suggest what else I can try.

Hi @jason_pinto

Just to confirm does the Access Points are the only devices not getting power from the Switch or any devices are responding, if none devices are getting power from the switch, and the SYS light in the Switch is orange or amber, the unit may be stuck in boot mode, so in order to fix it, you need to get access via console, using two connections one is for console access using the USB to type C cable (the USB will be connected on your computer and the type C on your ICX7150 Switch) now the second connection will be an Ethernet cable from your computer to the out-of-band port on your ICX 7150 Switch),don't worry the next guide explains the port locations and there are pictures about it.

Hi Yarenis,

From what I can tell the doorbell seems to have power, which it should get from the POE.

Hi @jason_pinto

Can you check the next:

1:Confirm the status of the SYS LED light for the ICX 7150 Switch #3 in the next image.

2:Test if the Switch can provide data, by connecting a computer directly to one if the 12 data ports#4 in the next image.

3:Find the IP address of the Switch and try to gain access via web, important your computer must be online, so you can connect it directly to the ISP router in case the connection directly to the switch dies no work and provide the next information

How to find my Ruckus “Devices IP address” using free applications

A:Now that you know the IP address of the Switch, in my case my IP address is 10.176.192.100, search for that IP address in the URL bar of your Web browser:

B:Hit login and the credentials must be

User: super

Password: sp-admin

Or test the combination

Usernames:           Passwords:

Admin                    sp-admin

Super                     Lennar

                               lennar

                               ruckus

                               Ruckus!

                               Ruckus1

                               admin

                               password

C: Now that you have access to the Switch, let's check the PoE status, please provide the screenshot of the results.

Hello Yarenis,

From what I can tell the switch is OFFLINE.

1. The SYST LED is steady amber. I connected a computer directly to one of the data ports.

2. The switch is unable to provide data

3. I tried using IP scanner, but did not find anything with the manufacturer 'Ruckus'. I reboot the ISP device and retried, but still could not detect the switch.
