Switch showing Disconnected with MAC address all zeros

Hello, I am trying to troubleshoot my slow network. On the dashboard my switch is showing disconnected and MAC address all zeros, I do have an IP address and a message "Unleashed system only supports ICX firmware version 08.0.90 or later. Can you assist? Thank you in advance

From the case description, I understand that you are facing issues with Rukus Switch and is showing disconnected.

Before we can help, we need to check which version the Switch is currently running.

Please follow the below steps and help us with the queries,

To check this, we must identify the ‘current’ IP address assigned by your local router to the switch ICX-7150-C12P

I will leave you a guide on how to perform an IP scanner on your local network to identify the switch IP address very easily.

2. Once we identify the IP address of the switch proceed to access remotely to the device “Command Line”

If you can access the Command line should look like this:

ICX7150-C12 Router> OR

ICX7150-C12 Switch>

Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.

Note: Hit Enter to accept each command

enable

show version

show flash

Thank you for the response.

From the screenshot you shared, , I understand that your RUCKUS Switch is on an older version(08080d) which doesn’t let you log into the Unleashed application. We suggest you upgrade your Switch to the recommended version(8095g) to avoid this issue in the future.

Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to upgrade the switch to the recommended version(8095g)
