Hello @sk1 ,

Greetings!

Thank you for contacting RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.

I hope you are doing well!!!

Thank you for the information you shared.

As per the description, I understand that you are unable to connect to the SSID even after performing reset multiple times.

We suggest you to  perform a factory reset on the access point and establish a new Wi-Fi network/SSID.

Note: If you have multiple Access Points (APs) in your home, please go to the Ruckus Switch, disconnect from its ports the Ethernet cables of all the Access Points, except the one that you are going to work with. Once the process is finished, connect back to the Ruckus Switch the access points that you disconnected before, and they will connect into the network automatically after a few minutes.

Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to factory reset the AP and create new Wi-Fi network.

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Lennar-Support-Knowledge/Factory-reset-process-of-the...

Please follow the article and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience.

Placing a response here to describe what worked for me, and what didn't work for me.

Note: I am on MAC OS, Android and none of the unleashed apps ever worked for me.

Setup: Figure 3: Connections for a Separate Modem and Router to the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Lennar-Support-Knowledge/RUCKUS-Lennar-Home-devices-C...

  1. Disconnect all the AP(s) from the switch
  2. connect Ethernet cable from router to switch
  3. reset the ICX switch, then access the ip via telnet in the terminal.
    1. find the ip https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Lennar-Support-Knowledge/How-to-find-the-IP-Address-o...
    2. telnet <ip-address>
    3. In order to log into the ICX dashboard via web interface (ui) I ran the following process

Securing the Web, Serial, and Telnet Interfaces

The following commands enable web access and secure the web GUI, serial, and Telnet interfaces with a default username and password of your choice.
      device> enable
      device# configure terminal
      device(config)# crypto-ssl certificate generate
      device(config)# username <username> password <password>
device(config)# aaa authentication login default local
device(config)# aaa authentication web-server default local
      device(config) # no telnet server
      device(config) # enable aaa console
      device(config)# web-management https
      device(config)# password-change any
      device(config)# ip ssh timeout 30
      device(config)# ip ssh idle-time 20
      device(config)# console timeout 30
      device(config)# write memory
      device(config)# exit
      device#
  4. Connect the primary AP to the switch via cable
  5. Wait for full boot up - even if this errors
  6. hard reset (https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Lennar-Support-Knowledge/Factory-reset-process-of-the...)
  7. Find Configure.me-<#######> SSID on your wireless network
  8. Log in and configure
  9. Confirm you can log into the new SSID with username and password
  10. Connect any remaining AP(s) to the switch
  11. Full reboot of the system, inc. modem, router, icx, ap(s)

Hello @sk1 ,

Thank you for the response.

From the response you shared, I see that you have performed the factory reset on one of the APs and connected with the new SSID.

Also, you have connected remaining APs to the Switch .

Could you please share a screenshot of the point where you are getting stuck?

Please let us know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
