Hello Moderators.

I have Ruckus 7150 C12P when I purchased the house and am 2nd owner of this house. As previous owner disconnected all cables and wires from the switch, I try to connect and found not working. Try to reset with Pin at front of the switch and power off and on, but cannot found working. Then I try to hard reset by downloading all steps mentioned in forum. Finally found ping says not alive.

I am submit  pics of the results and connections. Please guide me .

Hi @Kamal1320

Thank you for the response and the update.

Check 'Ports (COM & LPT) details (Refer to the screenshot)

If you don't see in COM & LPT details, check if you have installed the drivers of the Switch, if not please do. follow the below process.

Please make sure to download the zip drive for the file below & "extract all". Once it's extracted, run the file, the driver should be installed using the 2 links below.

Hi @Kamal1320

Greetings!!!

Thank you for reaching out to the RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issues you are experiencing with your RUCKUS setup.

Based on the information provided, it appears that you are getting a ‘not live’ error during the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch Software Recovery process.

This error is usually due to a firewall that is enabled on your Windows laptop.

Please refer to the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge Base self-help article to fix this issue.

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Lennar-Support-Knowledge/Fixing-host-192-168-0-x-is-n...

Additionally, please make sure to use ethernet cable (both ends RJ45 plugs) and USB to type C cable both together as described in steps 2 & 3 in the guide link. (Refer to the below screenshots)

Please let me know if you need help at any point during the process and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience.
