ICX-7150-C12P: orange system light- won’t power access points

When I got to the ping step in PuTTY it says “ARP Retry count exceeded; starting again; ping failed; host 192.068.0.2 is not alive“

Based on the case description it seems like your switch is stuck in boot mode. Also you are getting "ping failed" error while performing the software recovery process.

 

To solve this issue please try the same troubleshooting steps by turning off the windows firewall. Here I share the guide on how to turn off windows firewall.

Could you please make sure whether you have turned off the windows firewall as mentioned in the previous posts. If yes please share the screenshot of the image showing the windows firewall in OFF state.

 

Also please share the image of the switch again showing the console cable connections and the LED status.

Please try to do the factory reset process again and check the LED status of the switch. If it doesn't work please try to unplug all the cables from the switch and connect the console cables between the switch and your computer by using the below guide.

Once you are done with the connection please try performing the software recovery process and let us know the result.
