Factory Reset Attempt Not Creating "Config.Me"

jason123
New Contributor

Hello,

I just "moved" into a resold Lennar home. I configured "Config.Me" with an admin and password, along with password for the Wifi. However, after setup I have an unsecure "Ruckus-Wireless 1" wifi with no password. When I try to log in with the admin details I set up, it doesn't work.

Thus, I tried to factory reset the ICX 7150 C12P. I turned power off and the reset button. I kept only one Access Point connected. However, the unsecure "Ruckus-Wireless 1" without a password keeps showing up. It connects to the internet.

How come I cannot log into my admin account, and why can't I factory reset the unit?

Thank you so much for your response! I try but keep getting stuck on the log-in "Log in with your login admin credentials" step. None of the admin/super known log-in passwords work. I tried a factory reset to get to "config.me" but always get brought back to the established unsecure wifi with no password.

I'm wondering if the issue was I tried to set up "config.me" from my iPhone when I first had that chance? Regardless, I'm not sure why factory reset is not working for me right now.

Hi @jason123,

Thank you for your response and the update.

Yes, it is expected behavior for the configure.me-xxxxxx Wi-Fi network to appear as “unsecure” when connected during the reset process.

Please use a laptop to complete the factory reset by following the steps in the video below:

Hi Imran, my issue is that it's not resetting at all. I keep getting "Ruckus-Wireless 1" without a password. I cannot log in as admin, and the reset doesn't seem to work. I cannot get to "config me."

Any advice on how to ensure actual factory reset OR gain access to the admin log in so I can establish a password and take control of the wireless?

Thanks again for your help.
