We had a power outage and the internet seems to go on and off. We have a ICX7150-c12p-2x1g switch and 2 R350 access points. Lights are green on the switch and all lights are green on the access points except the AIR light, which has no light on. I have access the ruckus unleashed app and the two access points show up as good but the switch says it is pending and no IP address identified. I have used the advanced scanning tool and the IP address is not coming up for the switch, but the two AP do show up. Any suggestions, do a switch reset?

Hello @vwstrauss ,
Thank you for the response.
From the picture you shared, I see that the Switch is running on the Routing code (SPR). The Switch should run on the Switching code (SPS) for Lennar home users. Due to a power outage/power spike, the Switch boots up on the other partition which may be running on a ‘Routing Code’ results in causing this issue.

As you are not getting the IP address of the Switch even after changing one of the 12 ports on the Switch, I would request you to please connect to the CLI of the Switch using the console cable.
Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to console in the ICX-7150-12CP 'Ruckus Switch
Once you have access to CLI using the console cable, please use the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to fix the issue when the Switch is running in the Routing code.
Please follow the process as explained in the article and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

So I had everything lined out. I had downloaded the driver to recognize the connection, I had downloaded the Putty app, I had typed out all the instructions. I followed them just as they said. I had extracted the driver files and saved them to my computer.
But, could not get it to recognize the connection. Device manager did not show ports so if the connection had been recognized, i still could not put the correct Comm #.
I am very surprised a company like this does not have automatic updates and fixes. When older people purchase a Lennar home, these type of incidents would be terrible, if they had ever got it to work in the first place. Ours did not, we still have to pay for a wireless router from the cable company and connect that to the switch instead of just going from their service box.
Anyways not sure what to do now. Not sure why the connection would not work. I have attached pictures to show you my set up.
I am leaving on vacation tomorrow and wont be back until May 20, so I will not be looking at this for a few days.

Hello @vwstrauss ,
Thank you for the response.
From the response, I understand that you are still facing issues connecting to the Console.
Please refer to the below picture to understand the connection between the cables.
A console cable connected between your Computer to the ICX 7150 Switch Type-C USB console port.

Note: The cable type will be USB to type C, where the USB it’s going to your computer and the type C to the Type C connection in your switch, is the port number#1 in the next guide.
Could you please share a picture showing the connection cables of the console for us to proceed further?
Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience.

If u look closely at the picture I did send it has my computer sitting there with a USB cable plugged into it, and the other end is the switch with the USB c cable plugged into it. Do you need a different picture?

Hello @vwstrauss ,
Thank you for the response and for sharing the screenshots.
Once again, please make sure to download the zip drive for the file below & "extract all". Once it's extracted, run the file, the driver should be installed using the 2 links below.
Link 1: https://support.ruckuswireless.com/software/1414-brocade-ruckus-7150-usb-serial-driver-windows

Link 2: silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers?tab=downloads

Could you please restart the laptop after installing the drivers and check the COM port details in the Device Manger from the Control Panel?
COM port details should be with the silicon lab name in the device manager.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
