When monitoring an AP in the ZoneDirector (Firmware 9.5.2.0), the Radios are sometimes switched around. I have details about a 7372 that shows "Radio 802.11g/n" on the left, and "Radio 802.11a/n" on the right, and another 7372 that has the 5GHz on th...
In the ZD when I select an AP to monitor, under Performance there is a graph showing the RF Pollution in history.
What is this value? What unit? How is it calculated? How does it help me?
For example: I have an AP with RF Pollution of 26 whatsicle...
I would like to find out what values for PHY Errors, Noice Floor, Airtime total, busy, RX, TX are good and what values are bad?
If I'm correctly informed, this is what I know:
PHI Errors of < 20000 is acceptable,
Noise Floor above -85 is bad, bel...
I have two APs, and I'm not sure if the labels are right. One is supposed to be a zf7762, the other a zf7762s.
My zonedirector reports both as zf7762. Does that mean they are not 7762s devices, or would a 7762s also be listed in the zonedirector as...

I would like to shut one AP down, but without interrupting the clients where possible.
If not, I could turn the radio of that AP to low, hoping the clients w...
That's interesting. I still have these firmware files sitting in a folder, without fiddling with a ZD. I'm pretty sure I downloaded them from the Ruckus support site a while ago:
2925_5.0.3.0.199.Bl72925_6.0.3.0.21.Bl72925_7.0.1.0.3.Bl72925_7.1.0.0.3...
That is odd. Wanna try against a ZD I have here? See if that will give the same results? I have a spare zd1012 that is reachable from internet. It will have a different FW than yours, so that might trigger the upgrade.
I haven't tried it myself, but this should work:
Go to access control, Device Access Policy. Create a policy (don't forget to press OK):
Now go to wlan, advanced options. Select the device policy in the Access Control section of the advanced optio...
