Hi!
Just new to this kind of setup so please please bear with me 🙂
I can't somehow enter privileged mode when remoting via ssh. After logging in, instead of being started on limited mode ( ex. ruckus> ). It starts of with rkscli: typing in enable only shows command is not recognized: enable.
Is there something I need to tick off for the prompt to let me enter privileged mode?
Thank you very much in advance!
Regards,
James

Hi James,
ruckus> is shown in the Controller CLI or the Unleashed master CLI.
rkscli: means that the device is in normal AP prompt.
What is the software version of the AP.
Try with the command "get version" to check the AP software version.

If the AP is running on 200.x version, then you can get the "ruckus>" mode if the AP is Master.
If not then it will be on "rkscli:" mode.
If the AP is on any other version apart from 200.x version, then it will be on "rkscli:" mode.

Hi James,
Is your AP already configured and running on Unleashed? If yes, try below
- SSH into the any AP in the network (Since you posted this query under Unleashed product, I am assuming you have a working Unleashed setup with one or more APs).
- Now run the command "get election"
- Above command will give you a list of all APs connected to Unleashed network with all the other information about the APs (MAC add, IP, firmware ver, current role, etc). Try to find-out master AP (master AP acts as controller in Unleashed and will be labeled as 'master' in get election output)
- Now check the IP address of master AP from the same output (get election output).
- SSH into the master and this time when you will login, you will see 'ruckus>' prompt
- To go to enable mode, run 'enable' and to move to AP mode for master AP, run 'ap-mode'
HTH.
