Wireless Clients will not update hostname in rucks

We have multiple Linux device that we connect to our Ruckus AP and when we update our hostname within the linux device ruckus no longer (Was working about 2 months ago) updates the wireless clients hostname within Virtual Smart zone. This is an issue because Ruckus see's all of these devices with the same hostname. Any ideas?

Hi Tuna,

Please check the client fingerprint is enabled on the WLAN configuration.

Pleas enable the packet capture at end device while connecting to the SSID and check under option of DHCP for client finger print  information.

If client is providing the information then it will be updated on the WEBUI of controller.

If you are still facing the issue after enabling the Client fingerprint, then we will have to look into the Captures on the Client and AP side.
Please open a support case so that we can gather these details and check on the issue.
