Hello,

does SZ-144 support tunnel mode wlans? Or do I need a separate dataplane node to use tunnel mode?

Hello @kessvn

All hardware controllers comes with DP blade, you can tunnel the WLANs and start using it. While setting up SZ144, setup wizard prompts for One-Port group/Two-Port group. If you wish to isolate data traffic from control traffic, you could opt Two-Port group settings for better performance and user experience.

Hi @Parik_MN ,

Thanks!

Is there any information about SZ144 throughput? I believe it won't be able to fully utilize 4x10Gb ports at full speed.

Yes @kessvn, multiple ports are provided for redundancy setup. SZ can utilize one 10Gig interface at a time.

Your responses are useful, Thank. Im setting up SZ144 and R850s tunneled wireless network. I need to ask you 3 more questions.

1) Do I need separate AP tunnel license to use GRE tunnel in addition to my existing AP capacities license?

2) If I use two port group layout, should I connect both management and AP tunnel SZ interfaces to my network? Or connecting on of them will enough?

3) in this tunnel mode deployment, how the configuration of switchport connected to SZ and APs will be?
