Moving APs from one group to another

Can I move existing AP's (R710) from one group to another without causing any issues?

the AP's I'm going to move are in the same segment and I would be renaming those AP's

Hello @KDSM

Once you move the AP from one AP group to another one the AP will inherit the configuration of the new AP zone/AP group.

From the Access Points page, locate the access point that you want to move to a different AP zone/AP group.
Click Move, the Select Destination AP Zone/AP group form appears.
Select the AP zone/Group to which you want to move the access point.
Click OK.

Since the movement of AP will cause new config to be updated on access point, the connected client will have a slight impact though they will rejoin.
