I have a ruckus WiFi network that has recently been moved into Ruckus Cloud Virtual SmartZone 3.6.2.0.222 how long will ZF7982s be supported? as out of our 34 APs 29 of them are ZF7982s.  i intend to replace them in sections over the next few years as they still provide good wifi and faster than our internet pipe.  but i just dont want to suddenly have to replace them all at once because they are no longer supported...

Hi Gordon,
The way to find out is to contact your sales rep.

Kind regards

On the support site, you will find an End-of-Life announcement document (announced in 2016)
https://ruckus-support.s3.amazonaws.com/private/documents/1065/7782_EOS_Pre-Announcement_v0.1.pdf?AW...

End of support dates for the product are indicated there.

3.6.x is the last firmware on vSZ.

I'm sorry, but zf7982 and r300 model APs are NOT supported for use on Ruckus Cloud Wi-Fi.
https://www.ruckuswireless.com/ruckus-cloud-supported-devices
The Cloud Wi-Fi Support team say a controller code in use did allow them to connect, but the next
Cloud update will no longer allow your zf7982s to connect.
