I am trying to upgrade my ICX7150-C12 switch. I'm running SW: Version 08.0.80dT211 labeled as SPS08080d.

and followed the instructions to install the upgrade tool and documentation. The upgrade tool gets to "Start writing image into Switch: Primary partition..." but doesn't get any further than 20% and fails with the message "Unable to upload upgrade image to primary partition".

Thank you for the information you shared.
As per the case description, I understand that you are looking to upgrade the Switch version to the recommended version using the upgrade tool..
I understand that the version on the Switch is 08.0.80d.
Please note: For now the tool works only on 08080f and versions between 08095g.
Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to upgrade the switch to the recommended version
Please follow the process explained in the article and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
