My ICX-7150-C12P is stuck in boot mode and will not boot up.

I had a power outage and my switch is stuck in boot mode.  I have hard reset with a paperclip over 10 times AND TFTP and PUTTY  but it never gets out of boot mode, and I t install software following instructions on the community as it installs then stuck in  soft lockup - cpu#0 stuck. please advise.

I have a question for you:

Have you tried to boot the ICX from the secondary code in boot mode? If not, please give it a try using the command below:


ICX7150-BOOT>boot_secondary


Could you also try performing a software recovery as shown in the below link:

Yes we tried that too. I have a friend that is a network engineer Cisco certified and ruckus too and he tried too with no success. We look up the error that’s when we decided to give the forum a try. Without any success to get the switch running.

I noticed you've posted multiple posts referencing different serial numbers, all related to the 7150-C12P switch model. Could you please confirm if you're experiencing the same issue across multiple switches, how many switches do you notice the same issue ?

The reason I have multiple reports is that I kept getting denied. It was treated as SPAM.
