Switch reset not working

home_auto

New home was outfitted with Ruckus switch and 2 AP. I was able to reset and get the 2 APs working. The Switch on the other hand will not let me log in with the posted default password or other common passwords (admin & sp-admin    super  & sp-admin   admin & passoword). Those are the few I have tried. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @home_auto

"TFTP session timed out" message appears because the switch is looking for a TFTP server to load the configuration file from the TFTP server but there is no response from the TFTP server so for that reason creates a time out.

You can ignore this message if you are not going to download configuration file from TFTP server.

Here TFTP is not recommend to be disable since you are not going to be able to preform upgrades using this protocol.

ICX7150-48ZP Router>enable
No password has been assigned yet...
ICX7150-48ZP Router#config terminal
ICX7150-48ZP Router(config)#tftp disable

I have attempted the following steps but before it completes, it gets hung up on the following line: PoE Info: PoE module 1 of Unit 1 initialization is done.

ICX7150-C12-Switch enable
No password has been assigned yet...
ICX7150-C12-Switch config terminal
ICX7150-C12(config) tftp disable
**restart the switch and hit b until boot option**
ICX7150-C12-Switch no password
ICX7150-C12-Switch boot
enable
config t
username admin password password
wr mem
exit
Reload
Are you sure? (enter 'y' or 'n'): y
