I see it on the app. But i don’t see it when I go on my phone setting to my WiFi. It only says Unleash access point vs seeing Unleash access point 2G and Unleash access point 5G on my phone when I’m looking for the WiFi

And I’m asking how many devices I can connect at one time on my AP?

Hi @SteveO4

Greetings!

Thank you for the response.

Checking the Client details in the Unleashed system on a LAPTOP WEB BROWSER using the Master AP IP Address OR https://unleashed.ruckuswireless.com/ ? Please check the current version of your Unleashed Access Points and share a screenshot of the same.

If you encounter difficulties accessing the above link or if you are unsure of the IP Address of your Access Points, please refer to our guide on finding the IP Address of the Access Point:

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Lennar-Support-Knowledge/How-to-find-the-IP-Address-o...

You should see the below-Unleashed dashboard after finding the IP Address of the AP. Try to log in

To address your other query, the RUCKUS R510 Access Point is designed for medium-density environments and supports a substantial number of simultaneous client connections.

Maximum Client Capacity of RUCKUS R510:

  • Recommended maximum: 100 clients per AP (for optimal performance)
  • Theoretical maximum: 512 clients

However, performance degrades significantly as you approach the upper limit. Ruckus generally recommends keeping client counts below 100 per R510 for stable performance, especially for environments needing high throughput (e.g., video streaming, conferencing).

Factors That Impact Actual Capacity:

  • Type of clients (smartphones vs laptops)
  • Application usage (email vs video)
  • Band steering and load balancing
  • Network infrastructure and backhaul bandwidth

I hope this helps you.

Thank you again for your patience.
