Stuck on configure me

We recently received a new modem and router so I reset our ruckus. However, even after “successfully” configuring the new SSID and ruckus it is not connecting to the internet on the dashboard and the WiFi name is still reflecting “configure me” and not the new SSID. Lights are all green.

So to make this very clear, you are saying only 1 AP should be connected during reset? That’s what the document is showing but earlier on this forum I was advised to connect both during reset which is causing me confusion. I am not very tech savvy and doing the best I can with this little bit of help. It’s been a week now we have been going back and forth on this forum.

While performing the factory reset, please connect the affected access point to the switch and disconnect the rest of the access points.

 

Once you are done with the factory reset and finished configuring the access points please reconnect the other access points back.

Hi @Howardfam86 

 

Please check whether the IP is set to static or DHCP. If the IP configuration is set to DHCP please try to update the IP to manual using the below guide.

 

To change IP Address settings

 

  1. Go to Admin & Services > System > Device IP Settings.
  2. Review the Device IP Settings options.
  3. Select one of the following:
    • Manual: If you select Manual, enter the correct information in the now-active fields (IP Address, Netmask, and Gateway are required).
    • DHCP: If you select DHCP, no further information is required.
  4. Click Apply to save your settings. You will lose connection to the Unleashed Master.

 

As soon as the IP address has been changed (applied), you will be disconnected from your web interface connection to the Unleashed Master AP. You can log into the web interface again by using the new IP address in your web browser.
