Hi @Sam
Greetings!!!
Thank you for the response and the update.
The IP address must be by default for the Switch and shouldn't be manually applied. When you connect the Switch to the ISP Router it will get it's IP assigned by Router DHCP server.
Please note that RUCKUS Access Points (APs) operate as a single, synchronized wireless system under the RUCKUS Unleashed management platform.
If you are planning to reset the APs, please disconnect all APs from the switch ports, leaving only one AP connected. Perform the reset on that AP first. Once the reset process is complete, this AP will become the Master AP.
After the Master AP is up and running, reconnect the remaining APs to the switch ports. They should automatically synchronize with the Master AP and form a unified wireless network throughout your home.
I would also recommend following the RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge Base self-help guide below for Access Point factory reset process.
Please follow the steps in the guide and let me know how it goes.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
Best regards,
Imran Sanadi

Hi Imran,
Good day! Hope you have a lovely weekend.
Thank you for sharing the guides to soft reset the switch. However, I am not planning to reset my AP.
My objective is to reconnect the switch to the Ruckus Unleashed Portal and redesign the VLAN configuration. Is there any reason on setting ip is not advisable?

Hi @Sam
Greetings!
Thank you for your response and the update.
For Lennar Home deployments, the RUCKUS devices are generally designed to operate in a plug-and-play environment. IP address assignment is automatically handled by the DHCP Server on the network, so manual IP configuration is typically not required.
However, if you have a specific network design or configuration requirement, you may choose to assign static IP addresses or any other configurations as needed.
Please let me know if you have any questions or require further clarification regarding this.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
Best regards,
Imran Sanadi
