Hello,
I woke up today to my ruckus APs not broadcasting their SSIDs. After some research I was thinking maybe they upgraded their firmware overnight and the new unleashed firmware may require the ICX7150 to be on newer firmware as well. I updated the switch to 8.0.95B from 8.0.90B, but the three APs still wouldn’t connect.
They’re only online intermittently which is making it difficult to diagnose the issue.
One of the APs, when online, shows “building the unleashed network” on the web interface. All three APs have static IPs assigned by the router (ubiquity ER-4).
Any direction in getting these APs back online (ideally with their current configuration as I run multiple VLANs) would be very appreciated.
Thank you

Hi @Kanakaboy92
Thank you for the response and update.
As your APs and ISP Router ethernet cables are connected properly and we tried other steps with no luck. At this point, we may need to factory reset the APs. Please follow the below process to factory reset your APs to configure them with a new Wi-Fi SSID.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To perform a factory reset correctly on one of the access points, you must disconnect the rest of your other access points from the "ICX-7150-switch". For example, if you have 3 access points, you should go to the switch and disconnect 2 of the cables to turn off the "2 access points" and only leave 1 connected with which we are going to work the factory reset once you configure the access point and make sure all is good, go ahead and reconnect the other Access Points back.

Hi Imran,
thank you for this. I have multiple VLANs setup on Unleashed. Will those get wiped/erased when doing the factory reset?

Hi Imran,
I have followed the steps outlined to perform a factory reset on the AP. Only one AP is plugged in. It appears that it has entered a boot loop. The light will be solid red, then flashing green, then solid green. After a minute or so, it goes back to solid red and starts the boot process again.
When it fully boots (solid green) it does properly display the configure.me SSID, but because it doesn’t stay booted, I cannot initialize the setup using the unleashed app.
I’ve spent about an hour trying to get through the factory reset process only to get stuck with this same boot loop issue over and over again. I must have performed the reset about 5-10 times.
Please help

Hi @Kanakaboy92
Greetings!!!
Yes, we will lose the Unleashed system configuration after the factory reset. However, we can take a backup of the configuration before proceeding with a factory reset to restore it later.
Please refer to the below video which shows getting Unleashed configuration backup (Backup information just a few seconds from 1:10 minutes).

When you press the reset button on the AP with a paper clip you see a configure.me.xxxxxx SSID please perform a factory reset using a web browser on a laptop as described in the below video.

If there is the same issue again, please unplug that AP, connect another AP, and repeat the above process.
Please check and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
