My Zoneflex R510 keeps shutting down. I would like to see if it needs a firmware update. Would like to find the IP Address to access the AP to update to latest .

Thank you for the response and sharing the pictures.

Before we can help, we need to check which version the Switch is  currently running.

Please follow the below steps and help us with the queries,

1.   To check this, we must identify the ‘current’ IP address assigned by your local router to the switch ICX-7150-C12P

I will leave you a guide on how to perform an IP scanner on your local network to identify the switch IP address very easily.

2.    Once we identify the IP address of the switch proceed to access remotely to the device “Command Line”

If you can access the Command line should look like this:

ICX7150-C12 Router> OR

ICX7150-C12 Switch>

Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.

Note: Hit Enter to accept each command

enable

show version

show flash

Thank you for sharing the response.

From the response you shared, we understand that your RUCKUS Access Points are on an older version which doesn’t let you manage them. We suggest you upgrade your  RUCKUS R510 Access Point to version 200.15.6.12.304 which is recently released.

Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to upgrade the Ruckus AP to a recommended version 200.15.6.12.304

We would request you to please select the option “Local upgrade”.

Please click on Local upgrade and you can downgrade the version to the recommended version 200.15.6.12.304.

May I please know if you were able to open the CLI of the Switch using the Telnet option?
