Hi @Barb

Do you have access to your Xfinity router through either an application or a web interface? If you do, could you please verify whether you can find the IP address assigned to the ICX7150? I noticed that you attempted to use an IP scanner, but the two entries labeled "Ruckus" are likely your access points, as their MAC addresses don't match with the ICX7150.

If you can find it then you can follow the steps below:
2-This guide show you how to access remotely to your switch
How to remotely access to 'ICX 7150-12P' or 'access points' "Network devices"

3-Here are the steps how to fix the ‘routing code’ step by step (2 guides)

In simple words write the following commands and hit enter to accept each command:

ICX7150-C12 Router#enable
ICX7150-C12 Router#copy flash flash secondary
ICX7150-C12 Router#boot system secondary yes

If you don't have access, please provide a photo of your ICX7150 switch with cable connections. I need to confirm that the Xfinity router is properly connected to our ICX7150 switch.

(Refer to the image below and share a corresponding photo, displaying the complete switch panel with cable connections to the switch ports.)

Note: Ensure that ALL cables are connected to the 12 ports on the front panel, organized in 2 rows of 6 ports each.

Kind regards,

Hello @Barb

Thank you very much for the information provided.

Based of the information you shared,  it seems like you are presetting the routing code.

Output:

ICX7150-C12 Router

Symptoms

-Websites not loading
-Devices getting disconnected or having problems working as intended.
-Network dropping at random points in time.
-Smart devices not being able to connect to the internet.

-Unleashed dashboard sometimes not showing as "Connected" on the Internet tab.

-Slow connectivity

We have 2 ways to access to the Switch A) In a logical way via Ip address (Ip address are logical addresses given by the local router) so we would have to track which IP is that of the Switch (that is using).

1-This guide show you how to track the IP address of the Switch

B) The other method to access to the switch is via console (cable access) in this case we need a USB type C to USB standard or Console cable Rj45 to USB.

1-Here is the guide on how to access through the console and pre-install the necessary software

2-Once you are log in you can follow up the Routing code guides to fix the issue that are on the step ‘3’

Please note that, in my opinion, the most straightforward method involves using a console connection, as it only requires the correct cable to access the ICX switch

>Once the router issue is resolved, I can guide you through the steps to add the switch to your Unleashed dashboard. The switch doesn't automatically appear on the dashboard by default, so you'll need to add it manually if you wish to view the switch there.
