I live in a Lennar home that came with a Ruckus ICX 7150-C12P switch and two Ruckus APs. I’m having trouble getting my network working again after trying to set up the second AP.
Current situation:
AP #1: Shows as Configure.Me-XXXXXX. I can connect to it and access the Unleashed setup page, but it says Internet: Disconnected, Ethernet: X, DNS: Unreachable. It does have an IP and Gateway, but no actual internet connectivity.
AP #2: Shows as Recover.Me-XXXXXX, which I understand means it is in recovery mode.
ICX 7150 switch is connected to my ISP router via the orange Ethernet cable, AP cables are in PoE ports. I tried moving the uplink cable to port 1/1/1 and rebooted both switch and APs, but still no internet.
I have already factory reset the Configure.Me AP and gone through the setup wizard.
What I’ve tried so far:
Factory reset AP #1 and created a new Unleashed network.
Reconnected cables with uplink from router to ICX uplink port (port 1/1/1).
Rebooted switch and AP multiple times.
Checked IP/DNS settings in Unleashed (set to DHCP).
What I need help with:
Why is my Configure.Me AP getting IP/Gateway but failing Ethernet/DNS checks?
How can I properly configure my ICX 7150 ports for uplink and AP connections?
Steps to recover the Recover.Me AP so it can join the network.
Any guidance, example configs, or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance.

Hi
Update on this issue: I connect to the 2nd AP to the Switch. However it didn't auto configure, and when I login to unleash.ruckus.com, with connected to the 1st AP, it still only show there is 1 AP. and the 2nd AP still shown as configure.me.******. And I tried to connect to it and login to unleash.ruckus.com. but it's another set of password, and logged into an different account shown internet not working. I want to know what should I do. Should I do a factory reset on the 2nd AP? if I need to do that, do I need to disconnect the 1st AP and the 2nd AP gonna be my main?
Thanks for your help

Hello @zsl666 ,
Thank you for the response.
Could you please confirm if you have performed factory reset on both the Access points?
Note: If you have multiple Access Points (APs) in your home, please go to the Ruckus Switch, disconnect from its ports the Ethernet cables of all the Access Points, except the one that you are going to work with. Once the process is finished, connect back to the Ruckus Switch the access points that you disconnected before, and they will connect into the network automatically after a few minutes.
The second AP when plugged back into the Switch port, will automatically connect/synchronize with the Master AP (which you used to rest) and will capture all sorts of configurations and settings applied to the Master AP.
Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to factory reset the AP and create new Wi-Fi network.
Please follow the article and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience.

I did the factory reset on one ap, and that one now is working, and become the main. I connected the 2nd AP to it, and it didn't auto config, still shown as config.me.000000. So you mean now, I need factory reset the 2nd AP. but if I do that, It will reset and make the 2nd AP the new main AP?
