I have a ruckus switch ICX 7150-C12P. The power went out and rebooted it. I am now left with the switch having a lit up amber light on syst and a green on power. I have tried repowering the modem and the switch itself. I have also reseated all cat 5 cables to and from the switch and the AP’s. The AP’s currently have no power since the switch is POE. Does anyone have a solution to get the switch to resend out internet signal to the AP’s? Thanks a ton!

Based on your troubleshooting you have done, since the ICX 7150-12P is no responding even to the console connection, this unit must be RMA (return merchandise authorization) means replace it.

According to your description it seems that the Switch ICX7150 is stuck in boot mode, this requires to perform a software recovery and the only option to access the Switch will be through console, let me add the two guides that will help you to solve the problem, I advise you to read both guides first, and make sure you have the 2 applications and cables needed to perform the software recovery process either with a window or MAC computer.

3:After the problem is fixed and the switch starts up again as expected, you can check with the following commands that PoE is enabled for the switch to provide power to your PoE devices
"show version": Will display the current firmware and partition booting.(May look like this SPS08090k,SPS08080F what you need to worry is that always start with SPS)
"Show poe": Verify the ports using PoE, consumption and current budget.(what you need to check is that the Admin State is ON for all the ports from 1/1/1 to 1/1/12, as you see in my example the port 1/1/2 and 1/1/3 are on but also are on in the Oper state, because are in use
Note: if for some reason are no on, let me add the commands to enable it back.

Thanks for your response there is no way the switch will boot up without this being done? I have had this happen before and eventually it booted? Also basically you’re telling me I need to download this new software and load it into a laptop and install it into the server? Thanks again.
Well, yes in most cases software recovery is the only option, it doesn't really mean that you need to re-upgrade the switch, you can even insert the same code that is already running, however you can try to run a factory reset, sometimes the switch response to this option, and it will start without performing software recovery, let me add the steps to perform the factory reset.
Note: the video tutorial is for two models, pay attention to your model type ICX7150.
