Issues with new network configuration

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have factory reset my master AP in my home and see the Configure.Me in my available networks, however, it never establishes a connection when selecting it so I am unable to set-up a new WLAN. In the mobile app setup I get a prompt that I am connected to Configure.Me but the connection to the unleashed AP is not established and asks that I wait for the WiFi symbol to load on my device - but it never does. PWR light on the AP is a solid-state green. All other lights are off.

Hi @Anonymous

Please try all default credentials that are on the below guide :

Admin usernames and passwords for the Ruckus Wi-Fi Access Points/Switch for Lennar home users

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/Admin-usernames-and-passwords-for-the-Ruckus-Wi-Fi-Access-Points/td-p/46740

Most common username : admin password : Lennar

admin/Ruckus!

admin/Ruckus1

admin/lennar

If not what it means that you are doing the factory reset incorrectly make sure you disconnect all other APs on the network and preform the Factory reset to the only AP that remains connected to the ICX-Switch 7150.

HI @Anonymous

The access points are not switches , the main functionality of the AP ( access point ) is provided Wireless connectivity , the switch ( ICX - 7150 )  provides connectivity and power up the Wireless Access Point , on your setup should be a Router and a modem or Router/modem combo that provides all connectivity at your home  .

When you said entering the IP your are not able to get to the interface or the password is not working.

You need to take a look or search for an IP address for the Wireless Access Point it shows as Ruckus or Unleashed in the apps mentioned.

I have my IP address and I can get to the ruckus login screen but when entering credentials (again, those provided to me by Lennar) I cannot get through. I am prompted with a message that says "your connection to this site is not private" and the credential box just reloads over and over.

Hi @Anonymous

You are almost close to get it !

Please try another browser like Mozilla Firefox click proceed and advance to skip that warning message.

1.Depending on your browser, you may be presented with a security warning saying "This connection is not trusted" (Firefox) or "Your Connection is Not Private" (Chrome) or "There is a problem with this website's security certificate" (Internet Explorer). This is normal, as the Unleashed AP does not have an SSL certificate that is recognized by your browser.

2.Click Advanced > Proceed to [IP address] (unsafe) (Chrome), or I Understand the Risks > Add Exception... > Confirm Security Exception (Firefox), or Continue to this website (not recommended) (IE) to continue.

Also if you have more than 1 AP at your home disconnected from the Switch ( Ethernet ) .

Fernando -

Firefox isn't working either. The problem is I'm not even asked to "bypass" the untrusted connection. I enter my credentials and the window to login simply reloads and asks me to enter my credentials again. Nothing says the password is incorrect but perhaps it is? I'm using what Lennar supplied as the admin credentials

I've also tried all other username password combos listed in the forum.
