Internet through Ruckus APs intermittently unavailable while internet through router works

The WiFi through our Ruckus Access Points will go out multiple times through out the day while I know our internet is not out as I check through our xfinity app and the WiFi through the router is working fine, however, it doesn't reach to my office (hence the access points). Any thoughts of what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Base in your description, it looks like your Switch (ICX7150 Switch) may be booting from the wrong partition, let me add the guide to fix the issue.

 

Note: if you have access to the Unleashed Dashboard and the Switch can be seen from there, it may look like the following image, ICX7150-C12-Router instead of ICX7150-C12-Switch, now before starting the steps of the guide, I will advise you to cable the computer directly to the Switch, since you will have a better connectivity than if you connect via wireless, final after fixing the issue, please perform an upgrade to the code 08095g UFI and upgrade both partitions with the switching code file named SPS08095gufi.bin, take in consideration that if you are running a code lower that 08080f, you must upgrade twice, using the next path.

Thank you so much for your detailed reply. It does sound like that could be the issues, especially since this started to occur after an outage due to power blink. I have identified the IP address of the switch but cannot seem to access the dashboard by searching the IP address in my web browser. Is there any further support that can be offered?

Hi @kirsteng003 

If the Switch IP address does not bring you to the WEB GUI of the Switch, you can try the SSH or TELNET access with the same IP address if the issue, persisted, your only option will be the console access and follow up one of the two guides to fix the routing code issue via CLI.

1:SSH or Telnet access with the IP address you have found.

2:If still not working, you need you gain access via console.
