Hi @akkemgari

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the update.

Seems like there is some issue with your laptop keyboard, the alphabet ‘p’ is getting pressed on its own from your keyboard. Could you please check that once?

Also, please share a picture showing the software recovery cable connections between your Switch and the Laptop/PC.

Please check and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Hello @Imran Sanadi, can you review it and let me know the fix?

Hi @akkemgari

Hello, I have attached the screenshot that is connected b/w my computer and switch.

Ethernet configurations on my computer:

There is no keyboard issue. as I said in earlier, when I plug ethernet cable then console will not accpet any inputs and it behaves it's own way as shown in below screenshot. It is not only print 'P'.

when I remove ethernet cable the console start accept the user inputs as shown below. Please do provide some valuable troubleshooting steps instead of reboot and re-plug power cable as I have done enough troubleshooting last one week then I end up open a case on community.

Thank you.

Hi @akkemgari

Thank you for the response and the information you shared.

As I see from the screenshot, the ethernet cable you have used for the software recovery process is plugged into the incorrect port on the Switch panel. It should be plugged into the correct port as marked in the screenshot below. Please use ethernet cable (both ends RJ45 plugs) and USB to type C cable together as described in steps 2 & 3 in the guide link. Request you follow the same and perform the software recovery process once again.

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,

Imran Sanadi
