Hi,
I purchased a Lennar home. The previous owner left the ruckus boxes but did not provide any information on how the smart home works. I called Lennar and they said they no longer deal with this? I have 2 Ruckus Unleashed 510 series, one per floor on the ceilings. My AT&T fiber comes in downstairs and there is a box on the wall upstairs with the Ruckus main hub. When I moved in, the box downstairs had a couple of wires (ethernet) but they recently replaced my modem and removed that box and replaced it with a wall plate with one fiber wire that connects to the BWG 320 modem. On the main Ruckus box upstairs, there are 2 lines labeled WAP that are connected (light beside upstairs WAP is green, no light by downstairs) as well as a line labeled Ethernet from AT&T (no light showing?). There are 3 other lines connected (showing green) labeled Samsung hub, Lutron Bridge, and Kevo Bridge. The only lights showing on the 510s upstairs and downstairs are power and ctl (blinking). I installed the app but it doesn’t “see” a ruckus device. I downloaded the Fing app but it doesn’t show a Ruckus device. I tried to logon to the website recommended to locate the AP address but it said server not working. Help? I have no idea how to connect the two 510s? When they switched the box downstairs, did it disconnect the ethernet to the main ruckus box upstairs?

I’m not sure how to share a picture - I don’t see a way to upload a picture? I can confirm that the ethernet cable and both access points are plugged into one of the 12 ports. Is there a way to upload or email you a picture?

Hello @Andrea ,
Thank you for the response.
From the picture you shared, I see that the connections and the lights on the Switch looks normal.
Also, we would need to check few configurations of the switch.
To check this, we must identify the ‘current’ IP address assigned by your local router to the switch ICX-7150-C12P
I will leave you a guide on how to perform an IP scanner on your local network to identify the switch IP address very easily.
How to find the IP Address of the RUCKUS Devices (Switch and APs) using IP Scanner free applications:
Once we identify the IP address of the switch proceed to access remotely to the device “Command Line”
If you can access the Command line should look like this:
ICX7150-C12 Router> OR
ICX7150-C12 Switch>
Once you login to CLI, please enter the below commands and share the output.
Note: Hit Enter to accept each command
enable
show version
show flash
show inline power
show inline power detail
show interface brief
Please share the output of the above commands or share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any) and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
Best regards,

I ran Fing on my iphone and LanScan on my mac. Results are below and I don’t see anything that could be the Ruckus Switch?

Hello @Andrea ,
Thank you for the response.
From the response you shared, I understand that the Switch IP address details are not available or the Switch with Brocade Communications or Ruckus Wireless is not visible under the LanScan results.
Also, could you please confirm if you have access to a Windows laptop?
Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to console in the ICX-7150-12CP 'Ruckus Switch
Once you have access to CLI, please follow the commands mentioned in the previous post and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
Best regards,
Pinky Rajendran

I don’t have access to Windows but can check on borrowing a computer with access.
