Default login for ICX 7150 isn't working

Ruckus, 

I received a RMA switch from you this week but I was able to connect both AP's to internet via the switch. On the Unleashed page it shows the switch is DISCONNECTED.  None of the default passwords work.  Even after I conducted a HARD RESET.  Please ADVISE!

Please be advised that the username and password for both the Command Line Interface (CLI) and the Graphical User Interface (GUI) remain unchanged.

Hey There. I have moved this to the appropriate team and they can help moving this forward.

Can you confirm how you are accessing the switch? Are you logging in via GUI or CLI? If the switch is disconnected from unleashed, you will not be able to access it from there. At that point, consoling to the switch may be the best option.

In default state, super/sp-admin should work from the CLI.

Currently I disconnected the switch from the network and connected it straight to my computer with a USB cable. 

Also, last night when I did have the switch connected and show on the GUI, it showed as “DISCONNECTED”

but it was passing data and the AP’s were operational.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issues you are experiencing with your RUCKUS setup.

Based on the information provided, it appears that you are encountering login credentials issue with your RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch.

Please try to get the console access and reset the Switch Username/Password

Here is a guide on how to access to the Switch via console (cable access between your PC to the ICX 7150-C12P) in this case we need a USB type C to USB standard OR Console cable Rj45 to USB (Any one cable- please refer the guide)

Once you get the console access follow the below process to reset the Switch Username/Password:

You can reset your Switch username/password if you want, use the following commands to either modify the existing password or create a new username and password: (Please note them for future reference)

enable

configure terminal

device(config)#username super password pass

In this example, the username is ‘super’ and the password is ‘pass’. (You can use of your choice)

 

To ensure proper authentication, execute the following commands:

device(config)#crypto key generate rsa

device(config)#aaa authentication login default local

device(config)#aaa authentication web-server default local

After these commands you can use new reset username/password
