Hi Imran,

I have installed putty, tftp and drivers. I have tried all the configuration which you mentioned in link, but from putty I can get an error 192.168.0.2 is not alive. Please find attached screenshots.

Hi @viplavse

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the information you shared.

As I see from the screenshot, you have only used an ethernet cable to USB for the software recovery process and it is plugged into the incorrect port on the Switch panel. It should be plugged into the correct port as marked in the screenshot below. Please use ethernet cable (both ends RJ45 plugs) and USB to type C cable both together as described in steps 2 & 3 in the guide link. Request you follow the same and perform the software recovery process once again.

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding

Hi Imran,

Thanks for quick response. I have tried to swap the plug and also connect RJ45 in both end switch and laptop. Now good thing I am able to get Ethernet connection and also able to ping 192.168.0.2 also Putty is starting the session but boot> is not coming. Please find attached screenshots.

Hi @viplavse

Greetings of the day!!!

Thank you for the response and the update.

Could you please reboot your Switch once and perform the software recovery once again on Putty?

If still you are getting the same result, I request you please download the MobaXterm app similar to Putty and perform the same operation once again there.

Below is the link to download the MobaXterm application:

Mobaxterm: https://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/download-home-edition.html

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
