Hello Imran : can you please escalate this case.
1. from what I can tell the upgrade went through fine. So there is no error screen to share even if I wanted to.

2. on a reboot cycle, it went back into the hung status

I am really at a loss here. Any help appreciated

Hi @Karupasu

Thank you for the response.

Apologies, Please note this forum is on a best-effort basis support. And we do not have escalation policies.

Please help us with the below process:

1. As your Switch is stuck in boot mode, it is impossible to upgrade the Switch in the boot/hung state. However, if you have upgraded the Switch, please help us with the upgraded version.

2. If your Switch is stuck on hung/boot mode still, please follow the software recovery process as described in my previous posts.

Please follow the software recovery process and let me know if you are stuck at any point. Let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

It suddenly resolved after a few tries of reboot.
this is unacceptable situation; the product is unreliable and customers end up spending so much time on resolving.
Next incident of issues, I would like to request a replacement as a solution.

Hi @Karupasu

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the update.

Great!!! Good to know that your Switch is back to normal.

Please note, to avoid this issue in the future we have to upgrade the Switch the latest stable version 08095g, please help us with the below queries to assist you with the same.

Please follow the below steps and help us with the queries,

1. To check this issue, we must identify the ‘current’ IP address assigned by your local router to the switch ICX-7150-C12P

I will leave you a guide on how to perform an IP scanner on your local network to identify the switch IP address very easily.

How to find my Ruckus “Devices IP address” using free applications:

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-find-my-Ruckus-Device...

2. Once we identify the IP address of the switch proceed to access remotely to the device “Command Line”

How to remotely access to 'ICX 7150-C12P' or 'access points' "Network devices":

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-remotely-access-to-IC...

If you can access the Command line should look like this:

ICX7150-C12 Router> OR

ICX7150-C12 Switch>

Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.

Note: Hit Enter to accept each command

enable

show version

show flash

show inline power
show interface brief

Please share the output of the above commands or share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any) and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
