AP R510 not powering on

I have two AP R510 devices that won’t power on after inclement weather caused power to be lost very brielfy this morning.

Still getting WiFi through my router and ICX 7150-C12P switch is still getting power (PWR light is green, SYST light is amber). I’ve tried power cycling the router to no avail.

Please help get my APs back online.

Thank you for the information provided and, based in the troubleshooting you have done, since console connection is not responding in the ICX 7150-12P Switch, this unit must be RMA (return merchandise authorization) means replace it, Please feel free to contact us via chat, comment you already have a post, copy the link of this post and paste it into the chat to start unit replacement.

Hi @bkers10 

After the reset will take less than 10 seconds and,  according to your description, the Switch (ICX7150 Switch)still stuck in boot mode, so in order to fix it, you need to perform the software recovery by getting physical access to the Switch, using two connections one is for console access using the USB to type C cable (the USB will be connected on your computer and the type C on your ICX7150 Switch) now the second connection will be an Ethernet cable from your computer to the out-of-band port on your ICX 7150 Switch).

 

Note: Please read the guides carefully before start the troubleshooting.

I’ll have to try this tomorrow. Need a USB to Ethernet adapter to achievement both plugs. Will follow up if I run into any more issues.

Hope you are doing well ! 

Basically you need a console cable this can be ( ICX-7150 ) USB type C to USB ( PC ) or ( ICX -7150) Rj45 to USB ( PC ) and a normal Ethernet cable.

I attempted to perform software recovery, but cannot confirm correct COM# to use for PuTTY. COM3 is the only one showing in Device Manager, but it is not working for me.
