In an Unleashed mesh network. If there are multiple APs meshed together and all have an ethernet connection to the switch. Will the APs use the ethernet as the backhaul or will they continue to use wireless backhaul?

I have a network with 7 root nodes and a few mesh nodes. All of the mesh nodes seem to do a great of picking the best root node accept for 1 of them. Is there any way to set a preferred root node on this mesh node? The only way I can do it right now ...
