Hi Jenny,
This means you are not getting any error when change the IP but post applying the setting, it is not taking the changes.
If you are not getting any error then I will suggest to open a case with support and provide vSZ snapshot logs so that support can analyse and check why system is not taking changes (if you have multinode cluster, make sure you download logs from the vSZ where you are applying the changes).
To collect snapshot logs, go to vSZ GUI >> Diagnostics >> Application logs >> Click on "Download snapshot logs".
