In our current wifi implementation, I have two vSZ controllers. They are not clustered. 1 controller manages a school environment, and the other is our main environment. We will be migrating all of the school wireless into the main environment, retiring their current controller. The process is way simpler than I thought it would be, but currently after the AP is moved to the destination controller, it gets dumped into the default zone. The AP comes up on the destination and doesn't start broadcasting until it is moved into the correct zone, so I would prefer to have these APs land in their respective zones, having done all that work beforehand to set them up.
I know how to SSH into the AP and set a provision tag but I was hoping there's a way either from the smartzone or scripting that I could set the tags on multiple APs. I have about 200 of these to do.

Hi @dspjones,
You can use AP registration rule on the new vSZ which is in main environment, you can create registration rules based on IP address Range/subnet mask to point the APs to a specific zone.
Use this as a reference document for AP registration rule.

For specifically using provision tags, use this guide as a reference for script.
