ESports league can't connect Nintendo Switches to WiFi or wired network

We are running Virtual SmartZone with R510 and R650 AP and all ICX-1750 switches.  We have a WLAN for the gamers equipment that has WPA2-AES which the Switch can handle, heck we've run open and still get the same error.  The switch connect to the the AP but won't connect to the internet.  It says this network requires registration.  Happens Wired or Wireless.

Hi Brian,

From your query and description, its not clear where exactly you are seeing the error and if Switch is getting IP or not.

Could you check if a normal laptop or mobile client is able to connect to same network or that also facing the issue.

Also you should check if there is a firewall blocking any IP port or URL which is used by Nintendo Switches.
