Controllers cluster

Tariq91

We have 2 controllers added in one cluster and it was working fine, client requested to change both IPs of the two controllers, after changing the IPs, both controllers are up & both are pingable but each controller is not seeing the other controller, and we got this error:

The cluster node AESHJWLC02-SRV-HQ is out of service. This can be caused by a network outage, controller reboot, firmware update, or other service disruption. To troubleshoot, use the events/alarms or system monitoring menus within the system.

Both controllers dealing individually as a leader.

Hi Tariq,

Are your controllers physical SmartZones?

I would recommend raising a support ticket to get this looked at by our support team.

Best,
Darrel.

Other than ping, there are other requirements as well for node-2-node communication. I hope firewall is not blocking ports which are important for cluster communication.
