Authorized Transfer

May I inquire, due to performance issues, we need to build another smartzone and transfer the previous AP authorization to the newly built device? How should we proceed with this? thank

Hello Cangqingse, 

Once the new vSZ has been created and the licenses have been transferred, you can use the "Switch Over Cluster" option. This allows the APs to automatically migrate to the new vSZ, provided they have proper reachability to it.

Hello Cangqingse,

Do you wish to transfer the APs to a new SZ ? If yes please follow the below steps:-

Login to the SZ gui- Click on Networks-- Click on Access points -- Select 1 or multiple APs-- Click on more -- click on Switch over cluster-- Enter the details of the new SZ there.

Note:- SZ should be reachable to the APs when moving from cluster to another.
