Hello @manny_ajvalia ,

Greetings!

Thank you for contacting RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.

I hope you are doing well!!!

Thank you for the information you shared.

From the case description, I understand that the status lights on the Switch is Amber and the PWR light is Green, which means that the Switch is stuck in a boot mode

Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to fix the issue when the Switch is in boot mode.

Please follow the process as explained in the article and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Hello:

The video was very informative.  However can you show/explain how and where to connect the USB-C and Network cables on the switch?

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for the response.

From the response, I understand that you need assistance in connecting the ethernet cable and the C-type cable.

Please refer to the below picture to understand the connection between the cables.

A console cable connected between your Computer to the ICX 7150 Switch Type-C USB console port.

Note: The cable type will be USB to type C, where the USB it’s going to your computer and the type C to the Type C connection in your switch, is the port number#1 in the next guide.

Ethernet cable connected between the Out-of-band management port in the Switch to your computer Ethernet port.

Please note, we must use ethernet cable (both ends RJ45 plugs) and USB to type C cable both together as described in steps 2 & 3 in the guide link.

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience.

Thank you for the detailed explanation.

QUESTIONS: for my switch:  ICX 7150-C12P,
1. what is the "4. Slot 1 (10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 downlink) ports" used for?
2. what is the "Slot 2 (10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 uplink) ports (half-duplex is not supported on these ports)" used for?
3. what is the "Slot 3 (SFP+ uplink or stacking ports)"
4. Which ports should I connect my 2 two APs in?

Thank you.
