poor connection

There was a power surge, and since then we are have very very intermittent connection. I've logged on and it says that a switch is disconnected... having a hard time figuring this out.  Internet provider has verified their connection is strong.

Please read the guide an Ethernet cable is not a console cable, there are two types, which are explained in the Guide.

ok, i am now connected with USB console cable with Type-C connector.  still no device showing connected to computer

Please provide a screenshot of the device manager>Port [Com and LPT] tap and the connection between your computer and the ICX7150 Switch using the console cable.

where do i find this on a mac?

What is the error that you have when you run the command ls /dev/cu.* The guide explains how t access with a MAC computer, please check the guide first.
