Hi, The local cable company disconnected my Ruckus 7150 claiming it was causing problems with my Arris modem/router. Now I need to reset everything. When I name the access points after the factory reset, should I use a different name than my wifi network and if so, once everything is rebooted, what network name should I connect all of my devices to. I don't want to confuse my devices or network

Thanks for getting back to me. I intend to connect the switch to the modem, but what I really need help with is naming the unleashed access point after the factory reset of the access point. I already have a a Wi-Fi active in my home.

May i please know if you have tried to perform a factory reset on the Access point?
You should only connect one AP while performing a factory reset and you will need to create a new name for the Unleashed network.
Please follow the article mentioned in the previous post and it will help you to create a new SSID/network after performing the factory reset.

It took a couple of days to get the ladder in place. I performed a factory reset on the switch and this morning performed a factory reset on the primary AP. The second AP is not connected. I successfully reset the main AP, set up the password in step one and step two, being careful to take screenshots of each step to save the information. However, twice I have tried on the mobile app to manage the network and I keep getting error messages that my password is incorrect. I am about to try one more time before forgetting the entire process.

Ok, three or four times is a charm. LOL I have it set up with my iPhone being the only client. I tried setting up password recovery but I get "something went wrong. I'll worry about that later.
