Hi @Nhosei01

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the update.

Please note that the Serial Number should be all CAPS if there are any alphabets. Try using the last 9 characters of the AP’s serial number (S/N), typed in uppercase. If that doesn’t work, ensure you’ve held the reset button for at least 10 seconds until the power LED blinks, then try again.

When prompted for a password, enter the last 9 characters of the AP’s serial number in uppercase (e.g., if S/N ends with AB123456789, use 123456789).

If the password still fails:

  • Double-check that you’re using the serial number from the sticker on the AP, not the MAC address.
  • Make sure it is typed it in uppercase (case-sensitive).

Try resetting again to ensure the AP is truly back to factory defaults.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,
Imran Sanadi

I have factory reset the system and there is still no “configureme.xxxx” option when you open the wifi

Hi @Nhosei01

Thank you for the response and the update.

Please note the important points before the Access Point factory reset. Perform the factory reset of the AP using a Laptop.
Only ONE Access Point should be connected to your switch during the reset.

Here’s what that means:

If you have multiple RUCKUS APs (e.g., 3 units), unplug all but ONE that must be connected to the RUCKUS Switch.
Perform the reset on this ONE AP: It will become the Master Access Point.
Once the configuration is complete and confirmed to be working, you can plug the other APs back in. They will automatically sync settings from the Master AP.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thank you again for your patience.
