Ruckus has no power. Case #01424224 - Says to get support from forum. No luck yet.

My Ruckus has no power, no lights of any kind.  I have plugged it into many functioning outlets to make sure.  How do I get a replacement?  Can I get a replacement? Do I need a replacement?

Hi @JC04

Please follow the below steps to find the root cause of the issue.

  1. Connect the computer to the ISP router with the ethernet cable. Run the speed test, and confirm if your speed is stable and search for websites,  make sure you have no issues.
  2. On your switch while it's plugged into the outlet, do you see any lights on? (Amber or green) Please let us know which lights are on?

3- Make sure it is plugged into a well-known outlet/power source

4- Are the Access Points R510 powering up? 

5- Are you having any connectivity issues like webpage not loading or slow connectivity.

I have great internet access, the Ruckus is not connected at all, I have removed it.  There was no power coming to the device.  I have plugged it in to several locations, absolutely no lights come on.

Please provide an image/photo where you are trying to connect via console from ICX 7150 - C12 P (USB type C to  USB ) to PC. Before uploading the photos please login to the RUCKUS account and you can upload the image.

If your Ruckus device isn't powering on, try using a different power adapter or reset the device. If there's still no power, check if it's under warranty. If so, contact Ruckus support for a replacement. If out of warranty, you may need to purchase a new unit.
