Reset house power, AP network is very slow or fails to load url requests despite speed testing well

Reset house power while troubleshooting an electrical issue, now Ruckus access point network is very slow or fails to load url requests despite speed testing well. Ruckus app won’t allow me to log in to manage the AP based network.

Carefully following the CLI for ssh into the box was the ONLY way this was fixable. I'm not certain why the GUI is suggested, it failed at least 5 times.

The GUI and CLI both now report that the SPS prefixed boot image is being used to boot, and I've overwritten the secondary boot image with the SPS to eliminate the possibility of this happening again.

Are there any guided workflow articles on updating the firmware from 90 to 95?

Hi @scoobyjroo

The primary flash code will start with SPS (switching code) and the secondary with SPR (routing code), so if you are going to boot from the partition that has the code starting with SPS, it is a primary partition. You can also fix this issue via CLI.

Please follow the below guide to fix Routing code issues on Lennar Home users via CLI

Also I have attached a guide to console access the RUCKUS switch.

How to console in the ICX-7150-12CP 'Ruckus Switch'

Hi @scoobyjroo

Greetings of the day,

Thanks for your response.

Yes, the guide we suggested is to upgrade the switch from to 08080f to the code 08095g UFI.

Please confirm whether the issue got resolved or not.

If yes, please upgrade the switch from 08080f to the code 08095g UFI.

Please let us know if you have any queries in this regard.

This is the link that should replace your first link as a guid for fixing this issue. I've made it about halfway through, and I can see from the "Running Image Version" section of Monitor>Device that I'm running the SPR (routing) not SPS (switch). I'll continue to follow this guide to completion and report back.
