Not a technology Savvy: need help connecting with Ruckus which stopped working after power outage

Good Afternoon,

I am not a technology person so I need plain language and step by step, with screenshot guidance on how to fix my ruckus. It was working well until I had a power outage this week. I do have ATT internet still working, but ruckus is not sending the signal to all the boxes in every floor nor connecting all the devices such as Ring. Any help will be appreciated.

Please let us know the LED status of the switch and the access points using the below guide.

Thankfully for me, we had another power outage today and all the APs are working now. I am back to normal status and my home is a smart home again. Is there a way to avoid this disconnect to happen again in future power outages? Any guidance will be truly appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for your response. To avoid this in future please check the version of the switch and  Upgrade the switch to a new latest stable version (8095g version). 

 

Please follow the below steps to check the version of the switch and how to upgrade the switch using the below links.

 

To check the version we need to take console access to the switch. Once you get access to the switch please enter the following command and share the output of that command.

  1. Now please perform the following commands and share the output:

enable

Show version

 

If your switch is lesser than the version 8095 please upgrade the switch by using the below guides.
