I have a client that recently bought a condo with existing R550 APs.  They are broadcasting Recover.Me-... How do I reset/configure them for proper SSID and PW?

Thank you for the information you shared.

As per the case description, I understand that the Ruckus APs are broadcasting Recover.Me network.

We suggest you to  perform a factory reset on the access point and establish a new Wi-Fi network/SSID.

Note: If you have multiple Access Points (APs) in your home, please go to the Ruckus Switch, disconnect from its ports the Ethernet cables of all the Access Points, except the one that you are going to work with. Once the process is finished, connect back to the Ruckus Switch the access points that you disconnected before, and they will connect into the network automatically after a few minutes.

Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to factory reset the AP and create new Wi-Fi network.

This is not a Lennar community.  The only Ruckus devices are the Aps.  The router and switch are Araknis.  Can I still factory reset the APs and configure them directly or do I need some sort of controller?

Also, please be informed that APs can me managed through RUCKUS Unleashed system.

RUCKUS Unleashed is a controller-less Wireless LAN (WLAN) solution that supports up to 25 APs and 512 client devices. It can be deployed in a single location or multiple locations.
